What is Anchor?

Anchor is a cognitive priming utility that transforms your written intentions into unique personal visual symbols — called anchors. Through daily tracing sessions, you build motor memory and cognitive association with your intention, closing the gap between knowing what you want and acting like you believe it.

How does the free trial work?

You get 7 days of full access. At the end of your trial you can choose a monthly, annual, or lifetime plan to continue. If you don't subscribe, your account stays accessible on the free tier — a limited set of Focus Sessions, with your existing anchors and Thread Strength still viewable. Trials and billing run through Apple or Google, and the trial won't charge you unless it converts to a paid plan you haven't canceled.

What happens to my anchors if I cancel?

Nothing is lost. Your anchors and your history stay saved to your account and remain viewable. After the trial, a free tier remains: you keep access to a limited set of Focus Sessions and your Thread Strength stays visible. A paid plan unlocks unlimited forging, unlimited sessions, AI enhancement, and wallpaper export.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed and managed through Apple or Google. Canceling in your device's subscription settings stops the next renewal while preserving your access through the end of the current billing period. If you need help locating the cancellation option, email us and we'll walk you through it.

Can I get a refund?

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, depending on where you purchased. You can request a refund directly through the App Store or Google Play. If you're having trouble, contact us and we'll assist where we can.

What is the Lifetime plan and is it still available?

The Lifetime plan ($149) provides permanent, unlimited access and is offered only during the launch window. The first 100 members also receive Founding Member status; lifetime access more broadly may remain available to additional members while the launch offer lasts. Once the window closes, it will no longer be offered. Check the app for current availability.

What does “thread strength” mean?

Thread strength is your momentum score — a number from 0 to 100 that grows with each priming session and decays slowly if you miss days. Unlike a streak that resets to zero, thread strength reflects the cumulative weight of your practice over time. It's designed to represent your identity, not punish your calendar.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your intentions, anchors, and session data are private to your account. We do not sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it's used.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion at any time. Visit our account deletion page for instructions. Deletion is permanent and removes all associated data from our systems.

The app isn't working — what should I do?

First, try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling — your account data is stored server-side and will be restored on login. If you're still having trouble, email us at support@anchorintentions.com with your device model, OS version, and a description of the issue.
